Remember when someone would dare you? Taunt you. Tell you, you can’t do something. You wanted to prove them wrong. Well, that’s sort of my theory behind this post. I’m going to dare you. Taunt you. I want you to prove me wrong and join the EnviroMom Challenge of reducing your waste.
I’m bet you can’t do it.
Nah. Nah. Boo. Boo.
EnviroMom has is challenging families to cut back. Reduce, reuse and recycle. If the friendly garbage mans collects one can a week from your curb, make it one can a month now. The same can you use now just fill it once a month not once a week.
I’m bet you can’t do it.
Nah. Nah. Boo. Boo.
I recently wrote an article about my trash situation and how some cities are now charging for extra trash disposal. It’s getting so out of hand that people are being charged more for their bags of trash. Another reason why we all should be jumping on board this EnviroMom challenge and reducing our waste.
I’m bet you can’t do it.
Nah. Nah. Boo. Boo.
Prove me wrong. Do it! Take the challenge.

We’ve been working on doing this ourselves. So far so good, and my can isn’t even half full each week. Unfortunately I can’t find a company that will just come bi-weekly, I have to pay per month whether or not we set it our each week. So I just set out our half full can. :-) It’s amazing how much you can cut down on garbage just by watching what you buy and how you buy it.
This is so good. My city has dumpsters and I think we go thru one bag in the kitchen a week. I think for us if we can go one bag a week for the whole house.
I did this challenge a month or two ago. It wasn’t hard for us, but then, we recycle a ton of stuff. It always amazes me to see my neighbors with their trash can full or overflowing after just a week!
